It is end of the first month of this year - January. In the previous post I mentioned that this month will be very difficult. I can say that it was not so demanding. Closing marks was okay because we have written many tests before the holidays. My six-month effort was also reflected on my marks. If there was the same report at the end of school year I would be happy. I finished my work and it is in the hands of a responsible person. School round sholud be in February, so fingers crossed.
Maybe some of you do not know that I am keen on modeling. I am represented by M Management agency in Slovakia. This is my second agency, and I am very pleased with it. I've been to a few shows in Bratislava and Vienna and I had a photo shoots. Gradually I gain experience and extend my portfolio. A few days ago I got option to show in Klagenfurt. My first reaction - OMG where is Klagenfurt? Google Maps I found this city in the south of Austria. It's a bit far but I went for it.
The first day
Moja trasa viedla z Bratislavy do Viedne a z Viedne do Klagenfurtu. 10 minút do odchodu a ja som lístok stále nemala v ruke. Krásna zasnežená krajinka a tie hory ! Míňali sme jednu stanicu za druhou a po pár hodinách som dorazila do ciela. Na stanici ma čakal naozaj vysoký chlap s kartičkou Fashion For Relief. Jeho úloha bola odviesť ma do hotela. Viezli sme sa v čiernom Mercedes-Benz. Krásne to auto.
My journey was from Bratislava to Vienna and from Vienna to Klagenfurt. I think this trip is a test of inventiveness. As I came to Vienna a ticket for the next train was still in my mobile. QR Code is not enough you must have a printed ticket. 10 minutes to departure and I still did not have a ticket in hand. Thank God dear lady on information printed ticket and I was finally calm. Yet it was necessary to find a platform. I almost walked in the first class but then I realized that I had to go to the opposite side. After sitting down a man clicked ticket. Trains in Austria are really comfortable and you can get quickly where you want. There is a free wifi :) The view from the window of the train was nice. Beautiful snowy landscape and the mountains! We have passed stations and after a few hours I arrived at the target. In the station was waiting tall guy with a card Fashion For Relieffor . His task was to dive me to the hotel. We drove in a black Mercedes-Benz. Beautiful car. Mr. driver was really nice and we were talking in English.
Všetko mi vysvetlili a ja som si išla zložiť veci do izby. Potom ma osvietilo ked som zbadala malú modrú obrazovku a videla tam žiarovku. Bez väčšieho trapasu som sa vrátila do izby a zalahla spať.
We arrived to the hotel and I went to the reception and a they told me everything I needed to know. I also met the casting director and his assistant. Everything was explained to me and I went to the room. I noticed that people in Austria are more smiley and helpful than here in Slovakia. Perhaps the biggest shock was the room. I opened and I looked for the light switch and have not found anything. Then I saw a small blue screen. I tapped and I had finally light. I found out that everything here is controlled via the screen. Heating, light, blinds and even there is one for the cleaning service. That would be best to have at home. Room is beautifully furnished. I've never been in the hotel like this. Finally, I am also glad that I ended up going here. After unpacking I went down for dinner. Waitress greeted me at the table and I chose what to eat- pasta with pesto and shrimp. Yummy! Waiters are doing a great job. They care about guests. I realized that I have to read that book about etiquette. I am not used to it. Without any embarrassment I returned to the room and went to sleep.
